FOOTBALL :
MONDAY 4.30pm TO 6.00pm AGE GROUP 5 YRS TO 8 YRS.
Description: The football club is run by coaches who are
fully C.R.B checked and have the latest child protection,
and emergency aid certificates. A normal session would consist of a 15 minute
warm-up, followed by two separate training sessions, where players are
separated into 2 groups and rotated after 15 minutes of each session.
Normally there is a 30 minute match at the end, where players can put into
practice the techniques that were taught earlier. Awards are given out yearly
to players for attending the most sessions,and for the most improved player
etc. The Maurice Chandler Sports Centre can also pass on details of players,
who wish to join the local football team, Market Drayton Tigers.
