Our Story...

We are a charity run leisure centre and have been serving the community since the early 1960s. 
We have a range of sports facilities based in an old ‘D type’ RAF hangar. If you’re after something a little bit different,
​come and play your sport where World War 2 bombers were once stored!

We are currently offering football and hockey sessions (pre-booking required) as well badminton, table tennis, mini tennis, netball and open skating!

We have 8 courts available for badminton and mini-tennis and table tennis available.
No equipment? No worries, you can hire our rackets and shuttlecocks from reception… for no extra cost!

Pickleball Courts Available
No equipment? No worries, you can hire rackets and balls from reception… £2 per racket

The newly branded Hangar25 is our roller rink!
From roller hockey to roller discos, netball leagues to roller derby, the rink can be hired for a variety of different requirements!

Our astro pitch is available to book for football, hockey and more...
Enjoy access to free car parking, changing rooms and shower facilities, hot drinks and viewing areas for spectators.
